What are Spider Veins?

Spider Veins are very small superficial skin veins that are visible through the skin. They are irregular and curvy and often have the appearance of very fine spider legs.

They are also called Telangiectasias and can have a hereditary cause or other rare conditions.

The legs are a very commonplace for spider veins to develop as the pressure of veins are high in the legs.

Spider veins can be seen alongside varicose veins or in isolation.
